     Where did October go? Next thing I knew it was Trunk or Treat! Last year we had maybe 40 people. We were not the Pastor's of the church yet. We started November 10.
   So I planned on 60 or so. I made the dogs, Pastor called and got a bouncer and cotton candy machine. We had 12 cars signed up to go...... Then it started getting twilight.....

     Car after car started pulling in. I was getting nervous! I found out that the popcorn machine DIDN'T have oil! I frantically called Jesse to go get more pop, dogs and oil!! Still cars kept pulling into the lot. We lost count in all the fun, food and fellowship. The last count taken was 175. That's ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE.

It was a very fun evening here at Abundant Life Church!

Here is a smidgey update from my last blog posting.
The church is going great! July 4th picnic was a blast! VBS is coming soon.

It was a killer season for the morale mushrooms!

Daniel graduated from College and is now a school teacher.

He bought ANOTHER boat. I wish they would get a house real soon! He uses our garage and yard to store them in.

Have been busy keeping up the house. Lost half a tree this week due to a crazy storm and the yard was such a mess!

Jesse had a great 4th of July.

Jesse's collar bone healed fine & dandy. He now is into his 5th week of having a broken leg. He has gone through three casts and currently has that one off too. It caught on fire. Trust me....don't ask. The first one litterally fell off after one week and the second one had an ooopsie occured in the pool. I think if I would have had Daniel and Jesse together in row I wouldn't have Matthew, Joe or Christian.

I have adopted two guinea pigs. I got snooker'd into it. I only wanted one but the humane society said they couldn't be seperated. I was thinking of our 2 beagles and said ok......BUT G!! They fight and carry on in the middle of the night.

I bought a new camera and prompltly lost my usb cord. I have tons of quilt projects on it so as soon as I can remember where I put it I will upload more photos. I hope to keep up with my blogging. Life has really been busy lately. Thanks Suzette for reminding me!

Wild & crazy things have happened this month.
My brother lives in Japan. He was in the earth quake, tsunami, and radiation scare.
Thankfully, my sister in law and my 2 nephews got to fly to USA.

My guinea piggie of almost 8 years passed.

My son left to go live & work in Alaska as a police officer. Yep. So when you watch that show, look for him.

Son #4 had broke his collar bone last year. He snapped it again and needed surgery. When we went to the surgeon, he said nothing was wrong. Then the very same day a major college called him. They will be watching him play baseball. Yipee.

I have lost a total of 22 pounds. I just bought pants in a size smaller. When I got home... THEY are too big! So I now need to buy pants 2 sizes smaller I guess.

Only a few more days of this month left to go... Wonder what April is gonna bring??

Today we had an awesome time in church. I am very thank-full.
I have the best bunch of ladies to work with. They never complain and pitch right in and help me in what ever I feel like doing at the church. They are the best cooks in the whole wide world and can throw a church dinner for 150 together in a drop of a hat.

*I have a special quilt on the frame. It is very special because it contains fabric from my father-in-laws clothes. I hope to get this done and give it to someone in the family. I can't mention names cause they read my blog...LOL
*Church has taken up quite a bit of time. Work & family leave little time for quilting. I did do some sewing this week. I am working on a twilight quilt as well.
*I joined a birthday swap for 2010. I have over 20 blocks that people sent to me. I will get a photo soon. It is going to be a cool quilt! I asked for valentine day theme 12.5 inch squares. You should see what I got!!
*I joined weight watchers in December...YOu ask why?? Cause I couldn't take it any more and I got scared I would gain even more weight over the holiday. To date I have lost 20 pounds.
My body needs to catch up with the weight loss. Who would have ever thought! I need new clothes too, but that will have to wait.

Do you remember how I said: "I am making a quilt for myself?" Well, forget it! A baby shower came along, then I forgot all about Christmas! Yes Christmas! So this am I am loading up a quilt on the frame and going to get crackling. This past week brought Jesse's home coming, his first varsity touch down & baby shower. For the baby shower I did something different. I got an idea from my niece Kelley. You take a baby wipes plastic box & hot glue fabric & embellish, embroider name and walla~ a personalised case. I came across this blog today. I am going to make a quilt!! That is nothing new in itself! But it is for me. BY the word "me" I mean my family. We need some warm quilts to snuggle under & when we had company come visit recently, I realized we needed more quilts. I ran out of batting and since they closed our Hancocks, Joanne's and Minnesota fabric shops I decided to buy off the internet. I got a pretty good deal on wool batting. I bought three! I can't find my usb cord for my camera. I have new pictures I need to show you!

Today I got the mini quilt swap delivered to my home! Yeah Mee!

It is in a harvest type of thing. I love the fall. Fall is my favorite time of year.

Now round robin #1. Awhile back remember I was having a pity party and to celebrate it, my husband took me to Joann's and I spent! I ended up with Debbie Mumm's coffee theme fabric in the colors of brown, teal, chartruese and creams. I made up a block and sent about 1.5 yards of different fabrics with it. I hope that quilt turns out good. That is a present to myself.

Since I was talking about round robins.....In my last post I told you that I started a yahoo group RRQUILTING

I had another lady join (Anne) a little late so this now makes 7!! Thanks Anne!!

We readjusted everything and mailed the centers out. 2 is still not there yet. I hate when snail mail goes wrong.Here is Anne's center I am working on. I decided to go scrappy and do log cabin blocks. I will post my finished product in a couple of days.

I wanted to do a round robin. I had looked for several online clubs/groups but no one was starting one. So I started my own yahoo group. rrquilting.

A few months ago I bought some Debbie Mumm fabrics in "Coffee" theme. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it, so I put it on shelf. I went through my orphan block box to fish out a center square to use for my round robin. Nothing really "spoke" to me. Then I eyeballed the coffee fabric! YES!!! It would be perfect.

I went to http://www.quilterscache.com/ and looked up a block to make. I decided on union square.

What a week! This past week has been jammed packed with activities. First off, Monday brought the Ministers Banquet. We had the pleasure of sitting with old friends we haven't seen in quite a long time. God has sure moved in their lives. We got to talk about the trials and tribulations that were attacking on every avenue a few years ago. Although we couldn't see it at the time God was preparing! Yes preparing and EQUIPPING. Now, a few years later down the road if trials hadn't previously came back then would we be able to do the things that need to be done NOW?? Would we have the stamina?

Camp meeting is always a good thing. Not only do you get to catch up with friends but it makes you look at the bigger picture of Kingdom work. It is just not YOU & YOU alone. One tends to think of only the community church and surrounding areas, BUT when the whole STATE joins in....WOW!~!

The week brought insight, entertainment and encouragement. Let me tell you about the last part: Encouragement.

It was during the Ladies Luncheon that I became encouraged. I had the greatest of honours and privilege to sit at our States First Lady table!! O my word!~! But I will save that story for another day. Trust me it will be a good one........

The topic was "Kick off your SHOES" Joshua 1:3 "I will give you every place where you set your foot..." The speaker was of course none other than our First Lady: Wendy Corder.

During this mini sermon the main focus that was stirred with in my spirit was: It's OK to take off your shoes and be planted and serve right where you are. Claim your ground, don't take no for an answer. Win back your community. We have a promise! Every where we set our feet it will be given to us!

The whole week had been leading to this light bulb going on experience. Trials and tribulations only make us stronger. What a blessing to have them, but even more so of a BLESSING is when you get to the realization that those trials have been turned around to our GOOD. God sure did move this week.
This last photo shows people worshipping, even though the power had gone out because of a bad storm. How awesome is that??

Romika's Present!!

Look what arrived at my door today! It is a Package from my friend Romika. (Robyn)........................Way over there-----------> in Australia!! The package is HUGE! At first I was like: "Is this really for me?" sure enough my name is on the box.
Upon opening it up I was greeted with the usual bubble wrap. THEN after removing that I came across Fabric! (Every quilters dream!) It was "Bush fruit dreaming design " by: Doris Nampitjinpa. You gotta love the selvages on them!

Next I grabbed the Dark Chocolate covered strawberry licorice. O my GOSH!! is that stuff good! I ate 3/4 the bag before I could dig out anything else! (Then I noticed it is 117 calories per servings, with 7 servings in the whole bag....You do the math. I don't want to...LOL)
Then in the cutest little box tied with ribbon was this owl mug. How special! I had sent her an owl pin cushion and now I have the gorgeous mug to remind me of her every morning!

Then when I thought it couldn't get better than this I see a bird pin cushion! How adorable!! Bird soap, a dragonfly applique and see that frog?? I hear from other bloggers that they are super delish! I can't wait to try it!
Maybe I will split it, maybe not.
I wonder how you know Romika that I like birds, dragonflies, frogs and owls?? AND my favorite candy is licorice? It is like having: Christmas, my Birthday and Anniversary all rolled in! Thank-you from the bottom of my heart!

Then last but not least, the book worm of the family grabbed this. I might have to wait until he is done reading it before I get a chance to peek at it! Dan sends his many THANKS FOR SENDING THE BOOK.

Mother's Day

WOW!! What a memorable Mother's Day!

The day before my hubby gave me $$ to go to the quilt store & buy fabric.

Then First thing on Mother's Day my youngest was standing at the bottom of the stairs when I first came down in the morning, holding a candle & card. "Happy Mothers Day!" He proclaimed. HE remembered!! (maybe it was the daily reminders I had given?) So on I go.........

It was during church the ladies got carnations, to remind them they are beautiful!

AFTER church the men had dinner all ready. The foyer was decorated in pink with flowers every where. Little mini "menus" were on each table. Then they had waiters!! A decision of: Stuffed pork loin, Talapia, Barbecue chicken, couscous (sp), rice & vegies, Grilled vegies, Salad, Ice cream & cake was hard to make. I wanted dessert first but my waiter said that was improper?? G!

After a nice dinner & NO CLEAN UP we headed home. Son #3 had a card sitting on the table (he had to work) He gave me a preloaded visa card. How cool! I get to go to the fabric store again and not feel guilty about spending big bucks....LOL. His girlfriend text'd me wishing me a Happy Mothers Day.

Son #2 presented his gift. A nail kit with money attached and a card. The card read like this: Happy mothers day!!!! (pink one in picture) Open it up: "Thanks mom for everything......Including this paper" Love Matt....LOL He used my scrap booking paper. Gotta give him extra credit for that one. But this mama doesn't keep count.

Then later on my Son#1 & daughter~in~law came over they brought a dozen roses and a necklace hand made.

We topped the evening off with a trip to Mickey's (everyone's favorite ice cream place).

It was such a blessing to have my kids around me on this special day!! My sister~in~law was up for a visit. I thank God.

Today I was blessed with not one, not two but THREE!! quilting books!! Thank-you Randa!~! I really appreciated them!
This weekend we had a mini vacation. On the spur of the moment we threw everything in our fifth wheel and took off. We went to Zeeland, Michigan. I found a really cool christian resale shop. It was quite refreshing. I bought two antique tea cups with matching saucers. I will post pictures of my week #3 hexagons tomorrow. I plan on doing them tonight.

I sure did get a lot of things done today. Cleaned the house & cooked a big dinner. Then after cleaning up again, I went down to the quilty room and worked awhile.

I did some on Michaels b-day quilt. I have to go get more thread. I ran out.

I made 4 new hexagons and I even got 2 bonus ones from the left over triangles, Now how cool is that??

I was out in the yard taking photos when the mail truck pulled up. Out came a big box with my name on it!

Look what my mother sent me!! A MICHE purse! (www.michebag.com) I have been wanting one of these like forever and forever!! Then she also sent me perfume. I have the sweetest mom in the world. She sent it because I had been sick. AWWW Thank-you mom!! Love you!! Love the perfume too! I was running very low and it is a blessing!!

Been working on several things lately. Got the two quilts done for the downy challenge. Working on my nephews quilt & pillow case. That will go on the frame tomorrow, Lord willing.

I joined the hexagon block of the week. I made 8 blocks this week and the new one comes out tomorrow.

Dakota has been very depressed since buddy died. She only ate 2 bowls of food this week and usually she eats one ++ a day.

I went down to working only 2 twelve hour shifts a week. The money will be a little tighter for awhile until I can adjust our "standard of living" LOL

Esther aliu came out with a new quilt along. I just love her designs! I copied it out and hope to start on it. but I told myself I will not start this one until I finish the last one and my applewd.com BOM from last year. I started to quilt it and didn't like it so I took it off the frame and now need to do the frooger thingie with it.

Then!! I was all ready to piece together my "Calico GARDENS" I have worked on that for two years, doing the applique. I had all the 9 patches ready to go ( or so I thought) when I laid it out I noticed right away my mistake!! I had enlarged the 4.5" squares to 6.5" But guess what!! I forgot to enlarge the 9 patches! So now I have 98 nine patches that are 4.5". G!! What a bummer.

Another visit to the hospital today. I have never been in so much pain. Tests & new antibiotic I am feeling some what better. The Dr. said they will call if I need to be admitted.

In the mean time. Hubby bought me flowers & I took a few pictures of the yard. My gnome seems to say: "Get busy & plant flowers!!.............If ONLY! I am really tired of feeling cruddy nut muffinish.

Thinking about having the husqvarna looked at. Wished I wouldn't have sold some stuff on ebay.

I slept all night for the first time in like FOREVER! I do feel refreshed but G!! Mother nature in all her wickedness whopped me with not one but 2 zits! And one has to be smack dabbed right in the middle of my nose. Rudolph can't hold a candle to me!

My eyes look like alligators and I have bags & brown circles...The poor patients, they will most likely offer me to lye down on their beds thinking I am sicker than them....LOL

The passing of Buddy

Buddy passed today. He almost made it to the exact day we picked him out at the humane society 16 years ago, He was one year old, house broken and very kind, gentle and loving. I think he was so thank-full to be coming home to a house that had three boys ready to love & play with him. Soon to be four!

Buddy "attended" more church services, home concerts, plays and parties than any one could count. He was the best dressed dog for awhile. He could shake hands and welcome you into our home. When he would "bark" it sounded something like a rooster waking you up in the morning.

We are all going to miss him dearly. He was a beloved pet.

The Cherry tree is in bloom, but it looks really sparse this year. Dan has been replacing boards on the fence. We are going to paint it white. See that square opening?? Yep, the dogs now have a peep hole so they can see out better....ROFL!!

I have the ugly squares all sewn and just need to trim a few. Then the sewing frenzy will begin to put them all together. I also am working on a surprise!! BUT I can't unveil it until I am ready.......I don't want this to become a UFO.

The Ugliest Quilt in America

On the night of April 5th an unusual thought was birthed in my mind. I will make a quilt. Although the making of a quilt in itself is not unusual for me, the type of quilt that I thought of is.

This quilt will be magnanimously UGLY, utterly! Blue ribbon humdinger for sure!

All rules of color coordination will be thrown to the wind like leaves on a windy October day.

I was in an "anything goes" 9 patch block swap. Trust me! Anything went! The blocks are 9.5" and anybody who knows me would know that I like 12.5". So I got a dandy idea from Swooze. Use up scraps!! (Lord knows I have (3) 20 gallon tubs of the stuff.)

I dug through and pulled out 2" strips. Ironed & cut (9.5" and 13" inch) Why 13" when the blocks are 12.5"?? Well let's just say the extra is for oopsies and will be trimmed when I get them finished. Thus I embarked on a sewing frenzy...not even coming up for a sip of coffee!!

I didn't try to match anything. I just picked up a strip and went with it. Bonnie Hunter would be so proud of me! So, sometime last night I came up for air and took inventory of my accomplishment. What do you think of the progress so far?? Kinda messy right??

I was looking through one of my craft magazines for a new king kong size pin cushion. I came across this adorable owl. I made it three times the size it was supposed to be. Will post more pix once I get the blanket stiches done, the buttons, whistles & bells finished.

I made it to third place! I am really happy. I don't get anything for coming in third, but still that means more to me than any thing.

Dr has me off yet another week. I kinda, slightly miss work.

Dan is fixing the fence. Jesse is off of school for a week due to spring break. The weather is nice. The house is clean. The flowers are in bloom.

What more could you ask for? I guess I should mess around in my studio?? Create something crafty??

Our church "adopted" a child from The Smoky Mountain Children's home. Tonight everyone is bringing in items. I am donating this mini quilt.

Today I went to the hospital and got my records from my testing yesterday. There is a 2.1 cm hyperechoic mass in the left lobe of the liver and a 5.2 cm mass in the right upper lobe. It is now recommending a MRI to correlate dx of hemangiomas. I wish they would've cut to the chase and just did an MRI. So now next visit is this Friday to my PCP. I do not like waiting!

On the up side: I can't wait for the biggest loser to come on tv tonight and I plan to do some quilting!~! Uncle Danny is going to the homeless shelter. It is the last night of the season. I feel so sorry for those that don't have plans in place.

This past month has been both sad & happy. I was overwhelmed with working 2 full time jobs & making sure family was ok. I started having stomach pains and the next thing I knew, the Dr. took me off work! Went to see a surgeon cause the Dr. Dx me with a hernia. CT later showed: a small right hernia, a cyst on my left kidney and 2 masses the size of golf balls on/in my liver. So now I am scheduled for a US of the liver. I am sure the Lord has every thing in control and He is just giving me some time off work.

In the mean time. I got my quilting studio/room up and running.

I have finished 2 queen size quilts. One mini quilt for a childrens hospital in PA (downey corp)

Dan & I went to the U of M Hockey game this week. It was a first for me.

Then Mark & Marlene found us a hoosier cabinet at an estate sale! She got them down to only $300.00! I have been wanting one of these forever and a life time. It is in really great condition.

It fits perfect!

New Happenings

I got a new lap top for Valentines Day!~! It is mine...all mine. How do I know it will be all mine? Because I bought my husband a lap top for Valentines too!~! ROFL!~!
Now look out! I have so much to post, but first I have to work like a mad woman tomorrow on my swap blocks because I am over due. Shucks! I dislike when that happens! I need a quilty friend that lives really close so when I get in a bind like this, they can help me out and visa versa.
Dan & I are at a new church: Canton Church of God. More to come on that also. I am looking forward to serving, and doing all that we can do for the community.

We are well on our way into the New Year. A lot has happened that has kept me from blogging.

The church is off and running. Mercy Ministries has so many things to do in 2010!

I have been exercising for 21 days now. Today I may have over done it. I worked out 1 hour and 30 min. on wii fit. Dan & I went to the health club we joined and worked out 1 hour and 30 min. there.

My legs feel like jello!

I have 200 calories left to eat for the day and I am not sure how I want to "spend" them.

The Daniel fast started Jan 3rd.

Today I went to Joanne's and spent $107.00 in fabric. Then I got a whopping 80% off! (They are going out of buisness.) so for a little over 20 dollars I walked out with a bag full of beautiful fabric that is screaming "don't put me on the shelf!"..........................................(more to come)

Stocking swap

Each year I join in a stocking exchange. This is my sixth year. This year I have to admit was like any other year.................... I PEEKED! Before the grand opening. !~!Shoot!

There went my good intentions! So I guess Santa will be leaving me a lump of coal in my stocking?? BUT!! On the up side of things: I do have my wonderful stocking! Let me tell you about it!

The stocking is so adorable! I do not have anything like it! Wonderful colors of red, white and green.

Tucked inside was a bounty of quilting treasures! As you can see from the picture...she really out did herself! needles, book mark, fat quarters, and see tucked away in the right corner?? A breast cancer awareness pincushion WITH PINK pins! Now how cute is that??

Lotion, a tin with a tape measure!, not one but TWO Christmas ornaments! A quilting pattern and a beautifully made satchel to keep it all in! a take & go type of bag! I love it!

Then do you see the bag of skittles?? She had a label made that read "take as needed for stress" ROFL!!

Then what do my wondering eyes should see?? O my! A Mckenna Ryan pattern!!

YES!~! It is the first one I now have! Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you!~

What a great gift you have sent me! The box was cute too!

Now as usual after looking at all my bounty I look for the card......LOL

Have you ever stood in front of a mirror and try to take your own photo?? Well, anyway 16 inches are now gone from my locks. I am donating the braid to childrens network. They make wigs only for children and they do not charge them a lot.
When I first got it done I felt like a bobble head.

In three or four years I will do it again.

WARNING!~! This might get lengthy:

Today I went on the 2009 Holiday Shop hop.

I paid for the bus tour and we went all over Michigan. Johnny was our driver. I think he got a smidgey irritated when the tour went into over time. But G (insert BIG eye roll here) try getting 42 women out of a quilt store that has over 7,000 bolts of fabric! It is like taking your kid to a play place and telling them it is time to go home. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what the response will be.

I bought the kit from each store to make the Holiday Quilt.I also bought extra fabrics, a few patterns, buttons and took gadzillions of photos!

In each shop they were running a special. If you brought in a can good, you would get a free ornament to make! You bet your boots I brought mine!

One lady was really funny. She had heinz gravy, icing, french onions.....she made the statement: 'If my husband asks what happened to Thanks Giving day dinner; mums the word!"

I had a really good time.

They fed us really well too! She kept coming up and down the isles yelling: "get your feed"...snicker..like we were cattle or something

Running up to speed

Time to play catch up:

* My father in law is at home from his respite. Please continue to pray for the family.

* My grandmother....bless her heart! She is a cat with 9 lives and going on the 20th. She died last year and was a no code blue and they brought her back to life, oooops..............since then she wants to live.

* Jesse is in baseball. That alone takes up a lot of time.

* Joe is getting ready to graduate. (again rofl) Then enrolled in the academy to graduate again in Dec...ROFL

* I have begun a personal journey to get fit and healthy. I had put on the pounds and wasn't very happy with myself. I joined a free weight loss web site that does it all, and I mean DOES IT ALL FOR YOU! You meet so many friends and learn so much!

* Dan bought himself a new bike and his been riding daily.

* We are working on our yard. Making a new dog kennel and I think we are going to take out the pool.

* Now about quilting: I am keeping up with my BOMS, got a UFO on the frame and plan to have it done by Saturday. I will post pictures later.

So for now I will leave you with pictures of Foster. He is a crazy dog! He ALWAYS is carrying something in his mouth and if he sees something else laying around he will try to cram it in also.

2 of my boys went to West Virginia for a visit with their Aunt. Little did they know that they would be caught in a flood & mud slide. It was a state of emergency. They ended up staying down there to help out. Some people's home were totally washed away! My nieces home almost was but they all worked really hard & built a barrier to stop the land from washing out.

You are looking at a photo of a beautiful swimming pool by the bath house. Then the same photo one day later. It is filled with mud!

They all are safe, which is the most important. The live stock was moved to higher ground. The bee hives were placed on the porch.

The most embarrassing thing happened this week. I went out to breakfast with a bunch of ladies. We were having a meeting. First let me say that I was running late. My sister in law just brought me a bag of clothing for me to try on. I grabbed a really cute summery shirt and away I went. I really enjoyed myself, conversing with everyone even the waitresses, hostess and others on my way in and out. When I got home my husband said: "Did anyone buy you?" I was confused! He told me to go look in the mirror. When I did I saw a BIG $1 tag on my collar!~! Talk about having a first HOT FLASH! and the worst part was: NO one offered to buy me!

If I had a penny for every time one of MY patients did that, I would be rich! And here my own grand ma did it! She then told my mom that the doctor came in but he had to hurry back to the circus. She must really be having a good time! Bless her heart!My father in law is slowing declining according to the hospice RN. Please remember him in prayer. My sister in law is up from West Virginia to help out. I think I am going to clean my quilt room tonight. I lost my bunnyhill BOM. I had to embroider it still. The new one comes out next week! I am falling behind on my LQS BOM. I have 3 blocks to make by the 15th. Foolish goose tracks has flown south for the time being. Red delicious got a worm and I can't even see my quilting frame, it has become a glorified coat rack, except it has quilting stuff all over it. ROFL!~! Mybe I should just forget everything and go shopping???

What a busy week! My mother in law as you know was hospitalized and she is now home, but her leg looks really bad This week and she needs to go back.
My Father in law is home on hospice. Bless his heart! He is a sweet & gentle soul.
My grand mother had surgery early Sunday morning. She ended up having a twisted colon. I wonder how it gets twisted??
Dan preached this Sunday. I am glad it is a new week!

Animals

I love animals. We have so many different kinds. Here are 2 different types of squirrels. We also have the grey ones and the tiny little red ones. They are only 5 inches long. They are very hard to get a photo of.

I got an UFO done. I had the sashings & backings cut out for a very long time. I used stuffing that I got at a yard sale. The pillow ended up bigger than what I thought it was going to but O well!Tomorrow I plan to post and start another give away. I will also post about my father in law (who came home on hospice) and my grandmother who is in the ICU at a hospital in tim buck two. I hate not being close, but I did call her yesterday out of the blue. That in itself was unusal and I got to talk with her for quite awhile. Last night she became ill and my mother took her in.

Today Dan preached.

It was such a lovely day.

Dinner went well.

Then we all went to the park.

Walking the dogs was a fiasco.Red is just too adventurous.

Joe ended up driving Red home,

because he wouldn't behave. Do you see the mischief written all over that dogs face?Then Daniel came over and they played wiffel ball.

I had such a lovely day with my family. I even got an Easter present from my husband. I guess I told him one day too late I was starting a diet on Monday!

LOL I got a box of chocolates!

While Joe was gone, I got a lot of sewing done. I didn't have my camera, he took it at the last moment. So now that it is safe & sound back in my posession I will post some things got done.

My double delight only needs a border. I made an angel to take along to quilt in the car and finally last but not least, I got my Dear Jane cd out and considered it for a moment. I then placed it back on it's reverend spot on my shelf. LOL I am still in my jammies!

I looked in a basket of junk on clearance and I seen a ruler! It was 5 bucks. So now I own 26 rulers, this new one is 6 x 12. I could really use this one for smaller projects I kept telling myself to justify the purchase.

Then my cricut came yesterday. WOW what a toy! Hope I can squeeze some time in to play!
